I hope you all had a lovely Christmas day, ate some yummy food and got spoilt with lots of goodies! Tomorrow is Boxing Day, and that means shopping day! My local shopping center has plenty of sales happening tomorrow. I’ll be listing all my tips and tricks for tomorrow’s big shopping day! Enjoy.
1. Plan Ahead
Planning ahead is crucial. Organise before what shops you will visit, who you will go with and if you can, possibly make a budget for yourself. Depending on the shop, you may need to line up to get in. If you think you are going to spend a lot of time in the shop. Plan how long you think it will take to get in, try things on and pay for your items. Once you have the estimated time you can plan the rest of your day around that. Also, prioritise, if you know what shops sell out their products as soon as they open, put them at the top of your list. Don’t forget to eat and stay hydrated!
If you think you are going to be trying on a lot of things, make sure you wear clothing that will be easy to get on and off. I would recommend wearing a jumpsuit or a dress with shoes that can be easily slipped off and put back on.
3. Do you really need that?
We have all fallen into the trap of buying an item just because it is on sale. Ask yourself questions like, would you pay $60 for this shirt? Are you only buying this because it is 50% off? Do you really need anymore shirts? It may be hard to resist, but stay strong and walk out of the store.
This blog post has come to an end. While my ‘food baby’ and I enjoyed writing this post, I hope you and your ‘food baby’ are relaxing and planning for tomorrow. Enjoy your shopping experience and spend your money well!
